Tools - ALM software, QRM, BancWare

Skills-   Exposure to ALM software (e.g., QRM, BancWare) or programming languages (Python, R, VBA, SQL) is desirable PD, LGD, EAD, NII, EVE models

Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau) is a plus.

Familiarity with scenario analysis, stress testing procedures, and regulatory liquidity metrics such as the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR).

The ALM Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Asset Liability Management team by analyzing, modeling, and managing interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and the banks balance sheet dynamics. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in modeling and reporting for interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and balance sheet projections using ALM software (such as QRM, BancWare).

• Analyze the banks balance sheet to assess interest rate sensitivity, liquidity positions, and capital adequacy.

• Support scenario analysis and stress testing activities driven by regulatory and management needs.

•  Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

• Collaborate across Treasury, Risk Management, and Finance teams to support funding strategies and risk mitigation initiatives.

•  Monitor market developments, interest rate movements, and key economic indicators affecting ALM strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. CFA or FRM coursework/certification is a plus.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ALM, treasury, risk management, or a related discipline within banking or financial services.

• Solid understanding of financial modeling and statistical analysis.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with data visualization tools (such as Tableau) is a plus.

• Familiarity with U.S. banking regulations (Basel III, Dodd-Frank) and interest rate risk management principles.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured problem-solving approach.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights to a variety of stakeholders.

• Collaborative and proactive approach to working in dynamic, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of fixed-income securities, derivatives, and balance sheet management methodologies.
