Position: Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) F&O Finance Consultant

Work Location: Bangalore / Pune / Hyderabad

Experience: 7 to 15 years

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consultant Finance Module to lead full-cycle ERP implementations, manage client engagements, and drive solution delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in Finance and hands-on experience with D365 F&O implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end D365 Finance module implementations, including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct customer-facing workshops to capture business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Configure and implement Finance modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Project Accounting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration across end-to-end business processes.
  • Prepare and own key project deliverables such as Fit-Gap Analysis, Solution Design, Functional Design Documents, and Training Materials.
  • Work closely with the development team to define, test, and validate system enhancements and customizations.
  • Estimate efforts and manage tasks from conception through delivery, ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintain project progress in tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap for financial systems and process optimization.
  • Identify risks and escalate issues proactively for timely resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Finance implementations.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading at least two full-cycle ERP implementations.
  • Microsoft certifications in D365 Finance & Operations (minimum two).
  • Strong understanding of Finance business processes and integration points.
  • Hands-on experience in system configuration and testing.
  • Experience in Project module and Fixed Assets is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar project management tools.
