Job Description
Software Eng Asst Manager

As a Project Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and technical excellence within our development team. Leading a team of highly skilled developers, you will contribute in the Airports Airside development and deployment while ensuring it drives safety and operational efficiency for the customers.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee product development activities, assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure successful execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to build and deliver the product roadmap
  • Lead product design and development, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and alignment with product or program specifications
  • Recruit, develop skills, and manage the career and performance of a team of 10-12 developers
  • Establish engineering practices to drive efficiency in product development while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Mentor and guide team members to resolve technical challenges during development
  • Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to resolve risks and dependencies
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into product development

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Overall 8+ years of experience in hands -On software product development
  • 3-5 years of experience in people management
  • Hands-on experience in software development using C/C++/Java and scripting
  • Experience in building real time multi-disciplinary products
  • Knowledge of AI/ML for navigation and analytics
  • Experience in deploying visual and metrics-based management practices in agile teams for effective scope, quality, and schedule management in collaboration with business and functional stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Aerospace /Airports Air side regulatory needs and domain is a plus
  • Experience in leading Agile teams in SAFe release trains is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capability

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
