Our editorial division, Editors Street, specializes in crafting newsroom-quality articles, newsletters, and thought-leadership content on behalf of our corporate clients. We also work closely with media professionals to ensure these narratives find visibility in the right publications.

Role Overview

The Editorial Executive/Lead will play a critical role in shaping and communicating the narratives of our corporate clients. The position requires a blend of journalistic writing skills, corporate communication expertise, and strong media engagement capabilities. The incumbent will be responsible for producing newsroom-style articles, client newsletters, and ensuring effective publication by cultivating media relations.

Content Development

  • Research, draft, and edit newsroom-style articles, corporate news stories, press releases, and thought-leadership pieces.
  • Develop engaging newsletters tailored to client requirements, ensuring alignment with brand voice and communication objectives.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, clarity, and editorial quality across all written outputs.

Editorial Planning

  • Collaborate with client servicing teams to understand briefs, key messages, and communication goals.
  • Conduct background research, fact-checking, and ensure content relevance to target audiences.
  • Suggest editorial angles and opportunities based on industry news, business trends, and client priorities.

Media Relations & Publication

  • Build and sustain professional relationships with editors, journalists, and media houses across relevant sectors.
  • Pitch client articles and features proactively to secure publication in print, online, and trade outlets.
  • Maintain a structured database of media contacts and track coverage outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Journalism, English, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
  • 8-10 years of professional experience in journalism, editorial roles, or corporate communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to write in a newsroom/editorial style suitable for publication.
  • Proven experience in media relations and securing published articles is strongly preferred.
