Sales Manager – Storage Systems (Racking & MHE)

Location: Tamil Nadu

Experience: 4+ Years

Qualification: B.E. (Any Specialization)

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with strong exposure to industrial storage systems, warehouse racking solutions, and MHE (Material Handling Equipment).

Role Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and delivering customized storage and intralogistics solutions based on customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities1 Business Development

  • Identify & acquire new customers needing racking, shelving, and MHE solutions.
  • Conduct site visits, measurements, and requirement assessments.
  • Propose customized storage solutions based on warehouse layouts.

2 Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
  • Prepare, present & negotiate sales proposals and terms.
  • Upsell complete solution offerings including design, installation, audit, and consultancy.

3 Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Conduct periodic follow-ups and explore cross-selling opportunities.
  • Coordinate project execution with internal teams and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Track payments and ensure timely collections.

4 Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor offerings, pricing trends & market developments.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams for product & service improvements.
  • Identify new industry opportunities and strategic partnerships.

5 Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines and MIS.
  • Report sales performance, forecasts & market insights to leadership.
  • Build action plans for performance improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in racking systems / industrial storage / MHE sales.
  • Strong understanding of pallet racking, shelving, MHE (stackers, PTs, reach trucks, etc.).
  • Proven sales track record with ability to close technical deals.
  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building ability & customer-centric mindset.
  • Good financial understanding (credit, invoicing, collections).
