Role Description

This is a contract, on-site Data Engineer role located in Mumbai. The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data is accessible and usable for analytics and decision-making. Responsibilities include processing raw data, optimizing ETL frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensuring data quality and integrity, and implementing scalable data solutions. The role involves working collaboratively with other teams and staying updated with emerging technologies in data engineering.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Data Engineering concepts, including data modeling, database architecture, and ETL development
  • Experience with programming languages commonly used in data processing, such as Python, SQL, and Java
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or related tools
  • Skilled in working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and cloud-based data storage solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to optimize data processes
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Understanding of data privacy and security regulations
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in data visualization or business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus
