Key responsibilities also include analyzing financial risks, providing strategic financial advice, maintaining accurate accounting records, and assisting clients with financial improvement and transactions like mergers and acquisitions. Essential skills for this role are strong technical accounting and auditing knowledge, tax law expertise, exceptional quantitative and analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting accurate financial statements, monthly and annual accounts, and business performance reports.
  • Auditing: Conducting internal and external financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Taxation: Advising on tax planning, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Advisory: Providing strategic financial advice and counseling to individuals and businesses on areas of financial improvement.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Managing budgets, preparing forecasts, and analyzing financial data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Risk Management: Analyzing financial risks and implementing strategies to prevent or mitigate fraud and other financial discrepancies.
  • Financial Systems: Evaluating and improving financial systems and processes.
  • Liaison: Liaising with clients, businesses, vendors, and auditors to manage relationships and resolve financial issues.

  • Proficiency in accounting software like Tally.

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting standards and auditing practices.

  • Understanding of tax laws and regulatory standards.

  • Analytical & Quantitative Skills: Strong numeracy, quantitative, and analytical skills to analyze financial data and solve complex problems.
