About The Job:

We are Looking for Linux Administrator 

7 to 14 years

Location - Bangalore

Essential Job Functions:

  • Should have solid understanding and working experience of Linux system administration and basic knowledge on AIX.
  • Hands on experience in RedHat and SUSE OS upgrade and migration
  • Hands on experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration (version 7, 8 and 9), and SUSE (version 15)
  • Should have strong troubleshooting skills on Unix related issues
  • Hands on experience in RedHat and SUSE clustering.
  • Strong knowledge in RAID and LVM Administration and troubleshooting.
  • User Management, RPM management, Kernel patch management, and configuration management.
  • Kernel compilation, building, installation of a Custom Kernel, patching and fine tuning
  • Must have experience in VMWare vCenter.
  • Basic knowledge on scripting.

Qualifications:

  • Primary Skill: REDHAT / SUSE Linux
  • Secondary Skill: VMWare, AIX
  • On-premise server - Physical servers (Client, Client servers); Virtual servers (VMWare)
  • High availability cluster
  • Hardware updates
  • Firmware updates
  • OS updates
  • Troubleshooting backend issues handling P1 and P2 tickets
  • troubleshooting linux servers
