We are seeking a skilled Linux administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining Linux servers, ensuring data integrity through effective backup solutions, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Maintain Linux Servers
  • Implement and Monitor Backup Solutions
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Server Issues
  • Automate Routine Tasks with Scripting Languages
  • Perform Regular System Updates and Patches
  • Document Server Configurations and Procedures

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, experience with file server management, and proficiency in backup technologies and strategies. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are also essential for success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-8 years of experience in Linux server administration
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS)
  • Experience with file server management, including NFS, SMB/CIFS
  • Proficiency in backup technologies and strategies (e.g., Veeam, Bacula, rsync)
  • Familiarity with network protocols and services (e.g., DNS, DHCP, FTP)
  • Understanding of system security principles and best practices
