The Civil Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising civil construction projects from start to finish. This role includes site supervision, quantity estimation, quality control, contractor management, and ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and as per approved drawings and standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

  • Prepare project schedules, work plans, BOQs, and cost estimates.
  • Oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with project timelines.
  • Coordinate civil, structural, and finishing work as per design/specifications.

2. Site Supervision & Quality Control

  • Inspect ongoing work for quality, material standards, and workmanship.
  • Ensure construction activities follow approved drawings and standards (IS codes).
  • Conduct quality tests for concrete, steel, and materials as required.
  • Identify and resolve site issues, design discrepancies, and technical challenges.

3. Measurement & Documentation

  • Take measurements, verify contractor billing, and maintain project records.
  • Maintain as-built drawings and documentation.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials and verify material quantity/quality.

4. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Attend site meetings and provide timely updates.
  • Work closely with the project manager and design team.

5. Safety & Compliance

  • Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with site safety standards.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and enforce use of PPE.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory approvals and environmental guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Fresher or upto 1 years of experience in civil construction/project execution.
  • Strong knowledge of RCC, steel structures, finishing work, and construction methods.
  • Proficiency in reading civil/structural drawings and AutoCAD.
  • Good knowledge of estimation, billing, and quantity surveying.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and site management ability.
  • Good communication and team coordination skills.

Work Environment

  • Site-based role with coordination between site and office.
  • May require travel to multiple project sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12, ₹25,000.00 per month
