Job Title: CAD Design Engineer – Solid Edge (1 Year Experience)
Location: Ambernath
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Solid Edge
Industry: Mechanical / Manufacturing / Engineering
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using Solid Edge software.
- Interpret and understand technical drawings, client specifications, and manufacturing standards.
- Work on design projects involving sheet metal, part modeling, assemblies, and BOM generation.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable.
- Maintain proper version control and documentation of design files.
- Assist in prototyping, testing, and making revisions based on feedback.
- Apply GD&T and ensure dimensioning and tolerancing are as per standards.
- Participate in design review meetings and suggest improvements.
Key Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Solid Edge CAD software.
- Knowledge of mechanical design concepts, manufacturing processes, and materials.
- Experience in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and assembly design.
- Understanding of sheet metal design and weldments is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
