Position Name: Sr. Technical Project Manager

Qualification: BE / MBA or equivalent

Years of Experience: 12 to 15+ years

Location: Pune

Purpose of the Position (Short Summary of the Role):

  • Leading Project toward targets - New project, MYs
  • Coordination with other functions from the Plant, Engineering Service Provider and Engineering team
  • Representing Engineering in different forums
  • Project Coordination and Tracking (Time, Cost & Quality) against Milestones
  • Leading team and Cross Functional Teams to meet Project Milestones
  • Leading activities related to getting business from Head Quarters
  • Preparation of TCP growth strategy & support for implementation
  • Process establishment for R&D activities from Headquarter/ other VW brands
  • Evaluation for selection of Engineering service Providers
  • Handling Technical Project Management rated audits

Authority:

  • To be representative of Engineering team in different activities & different forums
  • Reporting on critical parts/ status of project to boost escalation process
  • Addressing & demanding for technical issues status & resolution by Engineering teams in MB & India
  • Define communication matrix between engineering service providers & development.
  • Define & implement new processes as per the business/ project requirements.
  • Leading activities related to getting business from Head Quarters.

Key Responsibilities &Tasks:

  • Leading technical development team for projects and MYs related technical tasks
  • Ensuring project targets & milestones (time, cost, quality etc.)
  • Timely reviewing the status of Project, checking the fulfillment of project milestones & ensure the smooth execution of the project
  • Establish overall technical project timeline with inputs from technical development team
  • Ensure project budget consideration for technical development and overall status
  • Review the technical issues, possible or identified actions & plan for next stages of project
  • Preparation and support of TCP growth strategy implementation. Leading activities related to getting business from Head Quarters
  • Process establishment for R&D activities from Headquarter/ other VW brands
  • Evaluation for selection of Engineering service Providers
  • Handling Technical Project Management rated audits
  • Coaching and mentoring of team
