Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Target Achievement
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals for the luxury product categories.
- Forecast sales, monitor performance, analyse trends, and adjust strategies to stay ahead of targets.
- Team Leadership & Training
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales executives / associates to deliver superior customer experiences.
- Recruit top talent; conduct ongoing training on product knowledge, customer engagement, upselling, cross-selling, store presentation and visual merchandising.
- Customer Relationships & Luxury Experience
- Cultivate and manage relationships with high-net-worth clients, VIPs, and repeat purchasers.
- Ensure personalised service, tailored consulting, and after-sales support to build brand loyalty.
- Merchandising & Brand Presentation
- Oversee the display, presentation and visual merchandising of natural diamond jewellery
- Coordinate with marketing & merchandising teams for product launches, in-store events, and seasonal collections.
- Operational Management
- Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, shrinkage control, and ensure optimal stock availability.
- Manage store budget: sales targets, staff allocation, labour cost, and store expenses.
- Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
- Keep abreast of market trends, customer preferences and competitor offerings in the luxury segment.
- Use insights to advise on product assortment, promotions, pricing strategies, and store positioning.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with upstream supply / design / procurement teams for new collections and replenishments.
- Work closely with marketing, visual, and communications for campaigns, in-store activations, collaterals.
- Reporting & Performance Analytics
- Track KPIs — average transaction value (ATV), conversion rates, units per transaction, customer acquisition / retention metrics.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and actionable improvement plans.
