Practice Lead – AI, GenAI & Agentic AI Solutions

Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid)

Experience: 12+ years in IT Services / Consulting, with at least 4+ years in AI / ML / GenAI solutioning/leadership roles

Role Overview

The Practice Lead – AI / GenAI / Agentic AI Solutions will define and execute Chimera's AI strategy, conceptualize client solutions leveraging AI technologies, and lead a cross-functional team of architects, data scientists, and engineers to deliver business value. The role involves a blend of solution leadership, pre-sales, thought leadership, and practice building.

We are not looking for someone who has already done this, but we are looking for someone who is wanting to do it coming from a tech background so far.

Key Responsibilities

1. Practice & Strategy Leadership

• Define the strategic roadmap for AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI initiatives within Chimera.
• Build the AI practice capabilities, frameworks, reusable assets, and delivery methodologies.
• Identify emerging AI trends, tools, and platforms relevant to client use cases.

2. Solutioning & Consulting

• Engage with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
• Architect solutions using GenAI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI).
• Develop PoCs, prototypes, and reference architectures demonstrating business impact.
• Collaborate with sales teams to support RFPs, proposals, and client pitches.

3. Delivery Oversight & Technical Leadership

• Guide AI project teams through design, development, and deployment phases.
• Ensure delivery quality, scalability, and performance of AI-driven solutions.
• Partner with engineering leads to integrate AI into digital platforms and applications.

4. Thought Leadership & Evangelism

• Represent Chimera at conferences, webinars, and industry forums.
• Author blogs, whitepapers, and internal knowledge content on AI innovations.
• Mentor and upskill internal teams on AI tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong background in AI / ML solutioning, including NLP, Computer Vision, and predictive modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, RAG, fine-tuning, agent frameworks).
• Experience with AI platforms like OpenAI API, LangChain, , HuggingFace, AWS Bedrock, or similar.
• Prior experience in pre-sales, proposal writing, and client engagement and if not willingness to do this.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to propose solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline.
• Certifications in AI/ML or cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Experience working with international clients across domains such as BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or SaaS.
• Social media presence with tech writings and posts
