A Telesales Executive is responsible for generating leads and selling products or services over the phone. Responsibilities
• Responsibilities of a Telesales Executive include conducting outbound calls to generate leads and handling inbound inquiries. They must effectively present products/services and tailor pitches to customer needs, qualify leads, and recommend solutions. Negotiating pricing, closing sales deals, and maintaining accurate records in CRM software are also crucial. Additional duties involve building customer relationships, managing the sales pipeline, collaborating with the sales team, and providing feedback to management. Participation in training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills is also expected.
Requirements and skills
• Essential skills for a Telesales Executive include proven experience in telesales or a similar sales role, with a history of exceeding targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and closing abilities, and proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office are necessary. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, along with strong time management skills, are also required. A high school diploma or 10+2 is typically required, with a bachelor's degree being advantageous. A resilient, positive attitude and in-depth product knowledge are also important.
