-Were looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer with proven expertise in both manual testing and test automation to join our fast-paced technology team. Youll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our core platform across web and mobile (iOS/Android) applications.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing (50%)

  • Design, write, and execute detailed test cases for new features across web and mobile applications.
  • Perform exploratory and regression testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
  • Log and track bugs in the defect management system with clear documentation and reproduction steps.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers during sprints for requirement clarifications, issue triage, and verification of fixes.

Automation Testing (50%)

  • Build and maintain automated UI test scripts for web apps using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
  • Develop automated test suites for mobile apps using Appium and Maestro.
  • Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and early bug detection.
  • Enhance and optimize test frameworks for speed, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by researching and implementing modern QA tools and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7-8 years of total QA experience, with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing.
  • Proficiency in Playwright, Appium, and ideally Maestro.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum processes.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup or fast-moving product environment.
