Job Description

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Marine Electrical Design and Retrofits.

Qualification B.E/B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics or Equivalent. Prior Marine electrical design/installation experience would be preferred, with working experience on Basic / Advanced AutoCAD (2D/3D).

Job Role:

  • Preparation of basic & detailed electrical engineering drawings for

marine/offshore projects.

  • Preparation of MTO for electrical & instrumentation systems.

  • Preparation of Electrical / Instrumentation Layout drawings.

  • 3D Model review from an electrical system perspective.

  • Review of P&ID for electrical & instrumentation part.

  • Understanding existing system & recommending system upgradation with

detailed drawings.

  • On-site inspection for upgradation/retrofit projects in the marine/offshore

industry.

  • Study of short circuit calculation & updating the calculation for retrofit.

  • Liaising with clients/class/Internal multi-discipline teams for design execution.

  • Managing the electrical team and project planning, and responsible for all

electrical project deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Skills:


• Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.


• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in marine electrical engineering, shipbuilding, or offshore industries.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and ETAP for electrical design and analysis is mandatory.

  • Experience with electrical load analysis, fault current calculations, and system modelling.

  • Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and automation systems is an advantage.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and single-line diagrams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
