Our two brands, Shark, and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands. Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which India plays a critical role. We have taken over this market from our distributors, so that we can run them directly and drive strong growth, behind innovation and investments.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Trade Shopper Marketing Associate to join our team. This role will be based in Bangalore, India.
Position Overview
The Trade Shopper Marketing Executive is responsible for executing retail-level marketing strategies, collating shopper insights and market data to maximize conversion and brand presence at the point of sale for SharkNinja India's product categories.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you will get to do:
- Work with the agency & sales and marketing team to implement trade marketing plans and shopper-focused activation campaigns for offline channel.
- Develop and coordinate promotional calendars, point-of-sale materials (POSM), and displays to drive in-store engagement and retail conversion.
- Constantly engage with shop floor consultants and sales team to gather shopper insights and analytics to inform category team & to plan activation, product placement, pricing, and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Key Account teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution of channel strategies and category growth initiatives.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activity, pricing, promotions, and assess in-store execution and shopper experience.
- Conduct ROI analysis of trade promotions and campaigns.
- Foster strong relationships with retailers, agencies, and vendors to support co-branded initiatives and joint marketing programs.
- Support the launch of new products and seasonal campaigns through compelling retail and shopper activation strategies.
- Travel to retail stores and network with the retailer store sales teams and staff to support shark ninja execution.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 3–4 years' experience in trade or shopper marketing, preferably in consumer durables, FMCG, or retail.
- Proficient in data analysis, shopper and category insights; strong Excel/MS Office skills.
- Excellent communication, planning, and relationship-building abilities; adept at cross-functional teamwork.
- Creative thinker with an understanding of digital activation, retail merchandising, and channel management.
- Willingness to travel extensively for market and retail visits.
