Senior Analyst

Work closely with the pricing actuarial team to support ongoing deliverables and contribute to various analytical projects. The team supports pricing function with key pricing metrics indicators, selection of annual trends, rates and Loss Ratios for model calibrations. Ownership of data for any analysis lies with the team, hence, the team members are extremely proficient in handling large datasets and creating and maintaining data pipelines. One of the core objectives of the team is to design and automate manual processes using the latest technologies. With a high level of technical expertise enhanced with actuarial and financial knowledge, the team delivers high-end analytical solutions.

What You'll Be DOING
What will your essential responsibilities include?

• Support pricing metrics reporting and ongoing integration projects. Manage quarterly/monthly/yearly financial data for MI reporting.
• Work with actuaries to refine rate monitor data anomalies by highlighting the outlier as well as accounts driving the deviations.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of complex data mappings that impact actuarial and finance data.
• Collaborate with IDA function to incorporate business requirements in reporting solutions.
• Partner with Finance, IT and Reserving functions to capture changes impact our data and processes to meet strategic goals.
• Demonstrate proactive communication with Business users, Development, Technology, Production Support, and Senior Management.
• Develops and maintains process documentation.
• Support Ad-hoc activities.
• Review and update internal controls documentation for Rate information.

You will report to Pricing Operations Senior Lead.

What You Will BRING
We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills And Abilities

• University Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/CS/IT/BSc).
• Relevant years relevant work experience preferably in the insurance industry, financial services, or consultancy.

Desired Skills And Abilities

• Good hands-on computer application skills, specifically SQL, Excel, R & Python.
• Good to have knowledge of Visual Basics, QlikView and Power Bi.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
