About the Role:
Gartner is seeking a technically adept and highly motivated Senior Test Engineer with keen attention to detail. This role will focus on the design of the test cases and testing Integrations (manual + automation). The ideal candidate should understand various integration patterns: pub/sub; AWS API Gateway; REST API's messaging. Experience with Publisher/Subscriber event-based integrations, AWS Glue, AWS EventBridge, Lambda functions is required. ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) Certification is a plus.

What You Will Do:
- Perform duties as an individual contributor and/or team member with 100% hands-on work
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end and back-end code, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems.
- Lead the development of maintenance and enhancement work items in automation testing.
- Proficient in writing Test Scenarios and Test Cases. Knowledge about Test Strategy and Test Plan
- Mentor and guide QA team members in developing automation skills and proactively assigning automation tasks to enhance team capabilities.
What You Will Need:
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accountability.
- A desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Working experience with onsite/offshore model is preferred
- Understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence is a big plus
- Proficient in writing Test Scenarios and Test Cases. Knowledge about Test Strategy and Test Plan
- Test execution, defect (bug) tracking, reporting, and issue resolution/coordination
- Develop and execute test automation scripts. Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal test cases reviews
- Assist with developing, implementing, and documenting testing methodologies
- Experience in automating web applications across multiple devices and platforms using test automation tools & frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Cucumber and JUnit/NUnit etc.
- Knowledge on Tools required for Amazon Web Services, Swagger or Postman
- Brainstorming and suggesting process improvement ideas to the team
- Advanced Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with AWS, DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- Test Engineer must work well with developers and BA in an agile development environment
- Understand various integration patterns: pub/sub; AWS API Gateway; REST API's messaging
- Experience with Publisher/Subscriber event-based integrations, AWS Glue, AWS EventBridge, Lambda functions is preferred
- Candidate should have experience with API Testing, Automation Testing (Selenium Web driver), REST Assured and Performance/load testing (JMETER)
- 4-7 years hands-on experience testing different applications for both manual and automated tests
- Experience with AWS Glue ETL jobs, including transformation logic.
- Proficiency in writing automated tests for serverless and ETL solutions.
- Knowledge of data validation, schema evolution, and error handling in Glue jobs.
- Knowledge of Test management tools X-Ray, All-In-One within JIRA (Project Management Tool)
- Expertise working in Integration, Performance, database, Regression, End-To End and API testing
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner to IT Leaders and business stakeholders.
- Strong Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices
- Strong Knowledge of Automation Tools like Playwright and Selenium for Web, Appium for Mobile Testing, Rest Assured and Playwright for API testing, Percy or Playwright for Visual testing.

*About This Role*
The Project Manager in Branded Research CoE will work in a global environment, in partnership with multiple Gartner analysts and external clients. The candidate would be expected to manage the end-to-end creation process of multiple branded research documents. Additionally, the candidate would be responsible for mentoring and training junior team members.
This is a unique opportunity for a systematic, growth-oriented, and experienced individual to make a big impact on Gartner's client experience as part of the Gartner's R&A Studio team. We are looking for an impact-driven, self-motivated problem solver who can lead the creation process of Gartner's Magic Quadrant and Critical Capability documents. As a Project Manager, you will partner with various external and internal stakeholders in Gartner to support the creation process of branded research. The candidate would be expected to manage the production process of multiple branded research documents.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with Gartner analysts to optimize project management of Gartner's branded research documents within scheduled timelines
- Manage process-related activities using established engagement essentials for the creation of branded research documents
- Prepare and maintain materials and documentation of assigned research documents (call summaries, internal project management trackers, scheduling internal meetings, administering vendor surveys, etc.)
- Contribute to new or evolving processes as needed
- Manage and complete projects related tasks and special assignments under BR CoE Manager's supervision/guidance
- Deliver input for regular project reporting (monthly/quarterly) to communicate progress updates
- Develop relationships with peers and key stakeholders to ensure collaboration across the business
- Mentor and train junior team members to help them achieve their goals and optimize performance
- Support the leadership in creating, tracking and maintenance of team tracking sheets
