Position: Engineer / Sr. Engineer : Design (3 Position)

Education : Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering Or Diploma in Tool & Die (4 Year Course)

Total Experience: Minimum 3 ~ 7 Years

Responsibilities / Skill & Competency Requirements :

  1. Examine, analyse, and interpret customer requirements, technical drawings, sketches, markups, and CAD layout information.
  2. Study of RFQ and prepare proposal Design according to customer requirements.

    a. Understand Customer Specification and conduct Feasibility Study.

    b. Must: Able to design the part and assemblies using CAD tools

    (Preferred: UG NX, CATIA V5, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) with good

    speed and accuracy.

    c. Understand manufacturing process limitations of Forging,

    Machining, and tool room operations, Machine elements, Surface

    Protection/Plating and testing requirements.

    d. Good knowledge of ferrous materials and related standards.
  3. Prepare DFMEA, APQP docs and Design Validation Plan (DVP).
  4. Participate in APQP reviews and complete the project tasks as mutually agreed with customers.
  5. To prepare a weekly / monthly review report of project.
  6. Support and coordinate IATF and customer audits, ensuring accurate documentation is prepared & maintained and uploaded through customer portals.
  7. Approval of Item Code/ BOM in ERP.
  8. Handling of ECN / ECR.
  9. Fully conversant in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint), Analysis & Problem- solving skills.
  10. Good knowledge of GD&T fundamentals and ability to apply on design.
