Role Overview

We are seeking a
Senior Shopify Developer
who is not only skilled in
Shopify theme and app development
but also deeply experienced in
conversion rate optimization (CRO)
strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building
high-performing D2C websites
that deliver exceptional user experiences and measurable revenue growth.

This is a hands-on technical role with a strong focus on performance, analytics, and growth-driven design.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes and apps.

Implement CRO strategies to improve site performance, engagement, and conversion.

Build and scale
D2C storefronts
with seamless UX/UI and mobile-first design.

Integrate third-party tools (reviews, loyalty, analytics, payment gateways, logistics).

Conduct A/B testing, heatmap analysis, and funnel optimization.

Collaborate with marketing, design, and brand teams to align growth objectives.

Ensure websites are SEO-friendly, fast-loading, and WCAG-compliant.

Troubleshoot and maintain existing Shopify websites.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in
Shopify development
.

Strong expertise in
Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
, and Shopify APIs.

Proven success building and optimizing
D2C eCommerce websites
.

Deep knowledge of
conversion rate optimization techniques
(A/B testing, cart optimization, checkout flow improvements).

Familiarity with Shopify apps such as , Klaviyo, ReConvert, , and image optimizers.

Strong understanding of
SEO, analytics (GA4, GTM), and page speed optimization
.

Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agency or eCommerce setup.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with
headless Shopify
or custom storefronts.

Familiarity with AI-powered CRO tools and personalization engines.

Knowledge of performance marketing funnels and their technical requirements.

Prior experience working with
high-growth D2C brands
