Job Description – Area Sales Manager (System Aluminium Windows & Doors)

Job Purpose

To generate sales for 
Aluminium System Windows & Doors
, target premium customers, builders, architects, interior designers, and convert project enquiries into confirmed orders. The role involves business development, site visits, technical coordination, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Market Development

  • Identify potential customers such as 
    builders, architects, fabricators, contractors, premium homeowners, and commercial projects
    .
  • Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers & consultants.
  • Attend exhibitions, industry events & network with influencers.

2. Customer Meetings & Product Presentation

  • Visit clients and present 
    Aluminium System Window solutions
    .
  • Explain technical advantages:
  • thermal break systems
  • slim series
  • sound insulation
  • multi-chamber aluminium profiles
  • heavy-duty hardware
  • premium sliding & casement systems
  • Conduct showroom visits / demo presentations.

3. Requirement Understanding & Site Visits

  • Visit project sites for understanding customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with estimation team for BOQ & costing.
  • Ensure correct technical briefing to the customer.

4. Quotation & Price Negotiation

  • Follow up quotations sent by estimator team.
  • Clarify technical doubts and pricing elements.
  • Negotiate and close sales within approved margins.

5. Order Conversion & Coordination

  • Ensure timely conversion of leads into confirmed orders.
  • Coordinate with:
  • estimation
  • production
  • installation teams
  • Ensure complete documentation: drawings, approvals, agreements, advance payment.

6. Reporting & Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly & quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain MIS: sales pipeline, follow-ups, conversion rates.
  • Report daily visits, calls, quotations & closures.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Strong knowledge of 
    Aluminium Systems (Slim, Thermal Break, Casement, Lift & Slide, Sliding)
  • Understanding of installation, fabrication & hardware selection
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and customer handling
  • Ability to read floor plans, elevations & architectural drawings
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, WhatsApp communication, and CRM (if any)

Experience

  • 1–5 years in 
    Aluminium System Windows, Facades, Glazing.
  • Freshers with technical sales interest can apply (optional).

  • Number of leads generated
  • Daily visits / meetings
  • Quotation conversion ratio
  • Monthly sales booking value
  • Payment collection and advance booking
  • Repeat clients from architects / builders
