Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide technical support to teachers, staff, and students for hardware, software, printers, and internet-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, projectors, printers, and interactive smart boards.
  • Monitor and maintain the school's Wi-Fi network, ensuring stable connectivity across the campus.

2. System & Network Maintenance

  • Perform regular system updates, antivirus checks, and backups.
  • Manage and maintain user accounts, passwords, and permissions.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with school IT policies.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.

3. Support for Digital Learning & Administration

  • Assist teachers in using digital learning tools such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, or other LMS platforms.
  • Provide support for online assessments, digital noticeboards, and audiovisual systems.
  • Maintain the school's email systems and website (if applicable).

4. Inventory & Asset Management

  • Keep an updated inventory of IT equipment, accessories, and software licenses.
  • Recommend upgrades or replacements for outdated systems.

5. Training & Awareness

  • Conduct basic IT training for teachers and administrative staff.
  • Promote digital safety, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible technology use within the school.
