Job Title: Accounts Receivable Executive / Officer / Specialist
Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, tracking outstanding accounts, and maintaining good relationships with clients to ensure prompt collections. This role plays a key part in maintaining the organization's cash flow and financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and send accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
Record and reconcile incoming payments with customer accounts.
Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up with clients via calls, emails, or letters.
Maintain updated records of invoices, receipts, and transactions in the accounting system.
Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries professionally.
Prepare regular AR aging reports and share with management.
Work closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth payment processes.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables.
Comply with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and AR processes.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Work Environment:
Office-based role with standard business hours (some roles may require extended hours during month-end/year-end closing).
