A salon manager oversees daily operations, including staff hiring, training, and scheduling, while ensuring high customer satisfaction and profitability. Key responsibilities involve managing inventory, handling finances and marketing, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining a positive and productive salon environment. Core responsibilities
- Staff management: Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise salon staff. Conduct performance evaluations and handle employee disputes.
- Client relations: Ensure excellent customer service, handle complaints, and build client loyalty. May perform services when needed.
- Financial management: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and oversee payroll, payments, and sales reports.
- Operations and compliance: Oversee daily operations, maintain cleanliness and organization, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Inventory and supplies: Manage stock levels for products and supplies, order replacements, and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Marketing and promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies, manage social media, run promotions, and attract new clients.
Key skills and qualifications
- Leadership and communication: Strong verbal and written communication, team leadership, and conflict resolution skills are essential.
- Organizational skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and a busy schedule is crucial.
- Customer service: Excellent skills in managing client inquiries, complaints, and building client relationships.
- Business and financial acumen: Basic accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting skills are needed to manage profitability.
- Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the beauty industry, including products, trends, and procedures, is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹12, ₹35,000.00 per month
