Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Draftsman with strong expertise in cement plant projects, equipment layout, structural drafting, and proposal preparation. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in preparing GA drawings, feasibility studies, and coordinating with project and interdepartmental teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare proposals, equipment layouts, and structural design drawings with strong basic design understanding.
  • Develop detailed spare parts drawings and technical documentation.
  • Prepare GA drawings, feasibility reports, and technical studies for cement plant projects.
  • Coordinate effectively with project teams and interdepartmental units to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Prepare estimations for proposals, Bill of Materials (BOM), and project-related requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of all drafting outputs.
  • Maintain drafting standards, documentation, and version control.
  • Support engineers and project managers by providing technical drawings and revisions when required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in drafting for cement plant projects (mandatory).
  • Strong expertise in machine, equipment, and structural design drafting.
  • Ability to prepare layouts, proposals, and feasibility documents.
  • Excellent communication skills for team and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in languages: Tamil / Telugu / Hindi / English (any two preferred).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering

Certifications in CAD software

Prior experience in cement or heavy engineering industries
