Vehicle Testing Engineer

Job Role Description:

  • Analyses specification of the system to be tested
  • Plans and layouts specific test design and sequences, test equipment to be used for the specific brake system.
  • Guides and directs qualified technician team on the set-up and performance of vehicle tests, including build in and preparation of test sensorics and analytics.
  • Oversees whole test program and prioritizes test tasks.
  • Documents and analyses the results and creates the respective reports.
  • Provides technical support and advice to accountable development team.

Professional Experience:

  • Hands on experience on commercial vehicle testing
  • System Knowledge of Air Brake ABS, EBS, ADAS, Transmission, Steering
  • Awareness of ECR13, IS11852, AIS 150 & other Automotive standards.

Task and Responsibility:

  • Vehicle testing
  • Brake system calculation
  • Instrumentation and data Acquiring
  • Homologation and Certification for vehicle level testing as per the IS 11852 or ECR 13
  • Technical Release form application point

Key figures (KPI):

  • Knowledge of vehicle testing with valid Commercial vehicle driving license
  • Knowledge of regulations
  • Handling customers
  • Brake system calculations
