Role Description

  • Analyse and create Requirements.
  • Meeting with the software designers and developers to determine quality assurance parameters.
  • Understanding of backend computer system infrastructure and program design.
  • Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
  • Estimating testing efforts for complete duration of projects.
  • Designing QA test procedures.
  • Deliver test cases and test scenarios to test newly developed applications.
  • Execute functional, regression and performance testing on newly developed applications.
  • Perform Validation Testing to ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Perform Security Testing.
  • Conduct Database Testing using MySQL to validate data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
  • Create, analyse, manage, and triage systems or software defects.
  • Documented bugs and communicated testing issues to the team.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.
  • Utilize HP ALM and JIRA for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and QA best practices.
  • Ensuring the successful deployment of applications.
  • Managing client communication, sharing minutes, and driving the overall project through successful SIT, UAT and Go live phases.
  • Responding to requests from the design, development team and management.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion to determine strong solutions.
  • Responsible for testing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a QA engineer.
  • Lead/Managerial experience preferred.
  • High-level analytical skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinker.
  • Ability to manage project.
  • Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Experience in dealing with multiple teams representing various areas in delivering projects.
  • Worked in an Agile/Scrum Testing and Development environment.
