Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Work from Office – Malad, Mumbai

Salary: ₹2–3.5 LPA

We are hiring a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer for , a platform used by businesses to create their websites in minutes. You will be responsible for making sure our web and mobile products are stable, bug-free, and release-ready through automation, with manual checks where needed.

Your role:

  • Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
  • Work with tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium for test automation
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites
  • Automate smoke, regression, and sanity test suites for faster releases
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor runs
  • Perform API testing using Postman and automate important API flows
  • Analyse test failures, find root causes, and work with developers to fix them
  • Do manual testing for new features, edge cases, and UX flows
  • Participate in release testing, sign-off, and overall quality reviews

What we expect:

  • Strong understanding of QA basics, SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium)
  • Basic programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python for writing scripts
  • Ability to write clear test cases and detailed bug reports
  • Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar tools
  • Knowledge of Git for version control and Jira / Trello or similar for bug tracking
  • Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
  • 0–3 years of experience in QA (manual plus automation). Freshers with solid projects or internships can apply.
