Job Responsibilities:

As an integral part of the testing team, you will be responsible for the following –

  • To understand the business requirements in the core banking domain specific to Deposits, IRA, and Checking & Savings account.
  • Review and understand the Functional specifications.
  • Prepare proposals, create presentations, and provide other sales support.
  • Prepare test cases for both functional and interface testing across Agile and waterfall projects ensuring one hundred percent test coverage.
  • Timely execution of test cases to ensure that the developed application satisfy the client requirements.
  • Raise quality issues to ensure minimum defect leakage and track it till closure.
  • Review User Manuals and Help files prepared for the software.
  • Understand internal policies and procedures and comply with it.
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and analyze business requirements in the core banking domain (Deposits, IRA, Checking & Savings accounts).
  • Review and interpret functional specifications to inform testing strategies.
  • Prepare test cases for both functional and interface testing across Agile and Waterfall projects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Execute test cases on schedule to validate client requirements and application functionality.
  • Raise, track, and drive closure of quality issues to minimize defect leakage.
  • Support pre-sales activities by preparing proposals, presentations, and other sales materials.
  • Review User Manuals and Help documentation for software releases.
  • Adhere to internal policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Build constructive relationships with internal and cross-functional teams as well as clients.
Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory:

  • 6–12 years' experience in the banking domain with expertise in Deposits, IRA, and Checking & Savings accounts.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Testing lifecycle.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
  • Initiative, self-learning capability, and ability to grasp new concepts/product features independently.
  • Experience in estimations, proposals, and presentation creation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to engage with internal and client teams.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs dictate.
  • Resilience under pressure; able to remain composed during challenging situations.
  • Availability for shift and weekend work as required.
  • Eagerness to continually learn and adapt to new technologies.

Good-to-Have:

  • Experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE/Oracle Banking applications—especially Deposits, IRA, and Checking & Savings modules.
  • Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks.
