Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for a Warehouse Assistant. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations including packing, inventory control, and maintaining an organized workspace. Duties also include the operation of equipment such as forklifts, accurate record-keeping of incoming and outgoing goods, and ensuring inventory is managed efficiently. Providing excellent customer service, when needed, will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Experience with packing, organizing, and ensuring safe handling of goods.
  • Skills in inventory management, record-keeping, and maintaining inventory control.
  • Proficiency in forklift operation and other warehouse equipment handling.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in operations.
  • Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
