Job Summary:

SRL Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Packing Assistant to support daily packaging and dispatch operations. The role involves handling goods safely, ensuring accurate packing and labeling, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pack, seal, and label goods as per client and company requirements.
  • Verify the product quantity and quality before packaging.
  • Use appropriate packing materials to ensure product safety during transportation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized packing area.
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and movement of goods within the warehouse.
  • Support dispatch operations by preparing consignments for shipment.
  • Maintain records of packed items and update the packing list accurately.
  • Report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures set by the company.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and logistics teams for timely delivery schedules.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Education: Graduation preferred (any stream).
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in packing, warehousing, or logistics operations.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of packaging materials, labeling systems, and warehouse procedures.
  • Other Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Physically fit to handle moderate lifting and standing for long hours.
  • Good teamwork and time management skills.

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse / logistics environment in Chennai.
  • Involves physical activity, handling materials, and coordination with dispatch staff.
  • Working hours may vary depending on dispatch schedules and workload.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹5, ₹15,000.00 per month
