Lead – Studio Operations

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Zyeta Full time ₹ 20,00,000 - ₹ 25,00,000 per year

Overview:

We are looking for a
sharp, structured, and relentless Lead – Studio Operations
to bring clarity, speed, and discipline across our studios. This role is the
execution engine
that drives every project—right from the pitch stage—through a
well-defined, standard workflow
ensuring every team member knows their tasks, executes them on time, and dependencies are resolved proactively.

The role is about
daily activation and tracking of task management systems
across all projects and studio locations. The goal is singular:
to close projects on time
, by ensuring the studio functions like a well-oiled machine.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Task Management System Activation Across Projects

  • Own and implement structured task management for every pitch and live project using studio-standard workflows
  • Work with design and operations leads to
activate project workflows from day zero
    allocating owners, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Ensure every team leader and their member has
100% clarity on what to do, by when, and how it fits into the larger delivery chain
    .

2. Daily Monitoring & Studio Progress Discipline

  • Track every active project
daily across Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Singapore
—ensuring tasks are moving, not stalled.
  • Flag delays, resolve execution issues, and maintain real-time visibility into progress and blockers.
  • Conduct structured daily/weekly follow-ups with all teams,
ensuring adherence to standard studio workflows
    .

3. Design to Pre-Construction to Procurement Enablement

  • Ensure smooth and timely handovers across all stages:
    design development → pre-construction → tender → GFC
    .
  • Work with technical and detailing teams to
ensure all drawings and documents are buildable, coordinated, and released on time.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure they have
clear, complete, and timely information to initiate orders without delays or gaps
    .

4. Interdependency Management & Studio-wide Coordination

  • Act as a bridge between design, engineering, procurement, and execution teams to keep project momentum high.
  • Align internal teams on deliverables, dependencies, and ownership at every phase of the project.
  • Identify and track interdependencies across teams, resolve misalignments, and unblock work in real time.
  • Eliminate the wait-for-someone-else loop—
    solve issues at the source
, escalate where necessary, and keep the chain moving.
  • Ensure teams don't work in silos but move forward together with shared clarity.

5. Client Sign-Off & Documentation Closure

  • Ensure
    client signoffs
on design milestones are obtained as per schedule—no slippages, no surprises.
  • Track all internal and client-related submissions as per studio workflow and keep records up to date.

Who You Are:

  • A
    project/studio operations leader
with deep knowledge of workspace project cycles preferably from a design & build or architecture environment.
  • A
    structured taskmaster
with a knack for operational clarity and studio-wide visibility.
  • Experienced in
    workspace project operations
, especially in design and build environments either from lead architect position or from the lead project manager position
  • Comfortable managing tasks for multiple live and pitch-stage projects simultaneously.
  • Strong at spotting gaps, driving resolution, and
ensuring no task falls through the cracks
    .
  • Excellent with systems, tools, and building momentum in teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • 6–10 years of experience in project or studio operations within design or construction environments.
  • Familiarity with the
    entire design lifecycle
, from pitch through GFC and procurement readiness.
  • Experience with
project management and task tracking tools
(e.g., Zoho, Trello, Notion, Asana, ).
  • Ability to manage multi-location teams and build daily operational rhythm.
  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or Engineering preferred.

Why This Role Matters:

You'll be the one who ensures
the system runs right
—every task, every person, every handoff. You will create a
studio culture of discipline, structure, and accountability
, making sure nothing lags, nothing is vague, and every project closes on time.

What We Offer:

  • A culture of
    freedom with responsibility
, where outcomes matter more than processes.
  • Opportunities to
    lead from the front
and directly impact the delivery of award-winning workspaces.
  • A collaborative, fast-paced environment with
    direct access to leadership
    and real growth potential.
  • A chance to work with passionate designers and project leaders delivering some of India's most innovative workplaces.
