We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic Infra team. You will be responsible for managing, designing, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in system administration, network management, cloud infrastructure, and automation tools. This role is critical to ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of our IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain core infrastructure systems including servers, storage, network, and cloud platforms.
  • Oversee and support enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, ensuring 24/7 uptime and performance.
  • Manage virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
  • Administer Windows/Linux environments and related services (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies).
  • Monitor system health and performance; proactively address bottlenecks and outages.
  • Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with security, development, and application teams to support IT projects.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues (L3 Support).
  • Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, asset inventories, and change records.
  • Mentor junior team members and support knowledge-sharing across teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles with progressive responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of server administration (Windows/Linux) and network configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in virtualization, storage (SAN/NAS), and backup technologies.
  • Familiar with infrastructure monitoring tools and performance tuning.
  • Experience in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Ansible, or similar).
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and modern endpoint protection solutions.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.
  • Ability to optimize and manage cloud cost and resource governance.
  • Experience with identity and access management solutions (Okta, Azure AD).
  • Exposure to enterprise service management platforms (ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Participation in data center migration or cloud transformation projects.
