Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to join our logistics team. The Logistics Executive will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing various aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, inventory management, and supply chain coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods, including scheduling and tracking shipments, ensuring timely delivery, and resolving any issues or delays that may arise
• Manage inventory levels and stock movements to ensure optimal levels of inventory at all times
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation and delivery of goods
• Monitor and analyze transportation costs and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, shipments, and transportation activities
• Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth coordination of logistics activities
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to logistics and transportation
• Develop and implement logistics strategies and initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
• Provide regular updates and reports on logistics performance and key metrics to management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles
• Strong understanding of logistics principles and practices, including transportation, inventory management, and supply chain coordination
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, transportation management systems, Odoo, etc)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to logistics and transportation (preferred)
