Company Description
Development Focus is a registered Trust and has been in operation since March 2006. The aim has been to reach out to children and youth in excluded communities, and to facilitate them to see opportunities that can transform their future, so that they can see meaning and purpose in their lives. The interventions are always with community participation such that the projects are sustainable, even after the project cycle is over. Our strategy has been to work for the poorest of the poor and we have been working in the tribal belt of Central India, covering the states of Jharkhand, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for facilitating poor, tribal farmers, through training, providing inputs and motivating them to increase their farm outputs. This will include overseeing the project, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Sound agricultural background and familiar with local situation in rural Ranchi.
- Ability to link with stakeholders and get them involved in the project
- Proven experience in project management
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Certification in project management is a plus
Contract Duration –
Initially the contract is for one year, with the possibility of an extension based on performance evaluation
