Position: Manager Retail Sales and Operations
Location: Empire Plaza 2, Vikhroli (West), Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

The Manager Retail Sales and Operations will oversee store sales growth, team performance, and operational excellence for our new premium activewear outlet. This role is suited for experienced professionals from the sports or fitness industry with a proven track record in driving retail results, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve store sales targets and KPIs through active team leadership and a guest-first approach.
  • Implement high customer service standards and ensure all employee interactions reflect an active wellness-focused ethos.
  • Organize in-store marketing and local events to build engagement and promote an active lifestyle.
  • Manage daily store operations, inventory, and merchandising to ensure high efficiency.
  • Ensure store standards, presentation, and layout support a seamless customer experience.
  • Control store expenses, optimize staff scheduling, and manage P&L.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team that is passionate about sports and fitness.
  • Cultivate a culture of learning, inclusion, engagement, and performance; provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Conduct team briefings and foster ongoing staff development aligned with company values.
  • Build strong relationships with local sports or wellness communities to expand store reach.
  • Collaborate across regional teams to share best practices and achieve business results.
  • Represent the outlet at community and store events.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 8-10 years retail management experience, preferably in the sports, fitness, or activewear sector.
  • Demonstrable leadership ability in sales, team development, and operations.
  • Excellent people management and communication skills.
  • Organized, multi-tasking, and result-oriented.
  • Bachelors degree or masters degree in any domain.
