We have urgent opening for Manager Key Accounts in Mumbai with a well known warehouse client

Role & responsibilities

The Key Account Manager (KAM) Warehousing is responsible for managing and growing strategic customer accounts in the warehousing and logistics domain. The KAM ensures client satisfaction through seamless coordination, operational excellence, and continuous value addition. This role acts as the primary point of contact for key clients and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to deliver consistent service and drive business growth.

3. Principal Responsibilities:

  • Account Management:
  • Act as the single point of contact for all client communication and relationship management.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
  • Understand client requirements and ensure alignment of services.
  • Business Growth:
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling value-added services (e.g., packaging, labeling, transportation).
  • Drive revenue growth from existing accounts.
  • Prepare and present customized solutions to clients.
  • Operational Coordination:
  • Liaise with warehouse operations teams to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, turnaround times, and dispatch schedules for key clients.
  • Ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  • Track key account metrics (e.g., order fill rate, TAT, customer satisfaction).
  • Prepare regular performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Commercial Oversight:
  • Support pricing discussions and renewals.
  • Ensure timely billing and payment collection.
  • Work closely with finance and legal teams for contract management.
  • Client Retention & Satisfaction:
  • Proactively address client concerns and provide solutions.
  • Conduct periodic review meetings with clients to assess satisfaction levels.

4. Skills / Work Ex. / Qualifications:

Qualifications;

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 4–7 years of experience in key account management, preferably in warehousing, 3PL, or e-commerce logistics.
  • Strong understanding of warehousing operations and supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
