Telemarketing Executive – IT Company (Chennai)

About the Role

We are hiring Telemarketing Executives for our IT company located in Chennai. The role involves contacting potential customers over phone calls, introducing our IT products/services, and generating leads for the sales team.

This is a target-based role, suitable for candidates with excellent communication skills and prior telemarketing experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential clients to promote IT products/services.
  • Generate leads and fix appointments for the sales/marketing team.
  • Explain product features clearly and handle customer queries.
  • Maintain call records and report daily activities to the manager.
  • Achieve assigned daily/weekly/monthly calling and conversion targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in telemarketing/inside sales (IT industry preferred).
  • Strong communication skills in English & Tamil (Hindi not mandatory).
  • Confidence to pitch products/services over the phone.
  • Target-driven and ability to work under pressure.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office/CRM).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹28,000 per month (based on experience & performance).
  • Incentive structure based on lead generation and conversions.
