We are seeking a seasoned SAP PS - Project Systems acts as E2E responsible for the Project to Decommission stream topics to provide state of the art solutions and services. This includes the implementation of appropriate systems enhancements following established processes to meet customer requirements. The Functional Consultant will interact with our Business facing organization to plan, prepare, execute and monitor projects as well as individual Change Requests. This will be done by leveraging technical skills provided by external partners.
In this role we require an excellent knowledge of SAP PS and the adjacent modules combined with a good understanding of associated business processes with ERP systems. Thus he/she should be in the position to consult business partners to find suitable and sustainable solutions meeting customer demands.Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proper solution design delivery, applications life cycle management and service performance monitoring while maintaining necessary internal (process, security) and external (GxP, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), license) compliance.
  • Secure minimal business disruption on application go live based on proper design and formal project hand-over process.
  • Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops, Analyze and prepare documentation.
  • Establish the required improvements plan as per identified gaps and/or defined requirements.
  • Secure timely issuance of periodic performance report and annual service reviews, and Incident Management.
  • Lead the resolution of critical or complex incidents including related crisis management when appropriate.
  • Should understand business requirements in the area of Project structuring, Project planning (Time planning, cost planning, Budgeting).
  • Project execution and monitoring, Result analysis/Variance analysis and do To be process mapping, Gap analysis, KDS finalization, custom development object identification /RICEF list Finalize requirement of each custom development object (RICEF object). 
  • Prepare and provide functional specification to the Technical team to carry out development Carry out functional configurations. 
  • Prepare test scripts  and do unit testing and development testing. 
  • Identify integration scenarios, prepare Integration test scripts and do integration testing.
  • Plan and provide training to Core team and users Manage Master data and cutover data migration /upload Provide post go live support for issues faced by users.

Must-Have Skills
  • Should have at least 3-6 years of Proven experience on complete PS module cycle from project creation to settlement.
  • Should have at least one E2E SAP implementation project experience.
  • Must have all required Project System functional and Configuration knowledge in SAP ECC system.
  • Should have good configuration knowledge in WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, milestone billing, results analysis, COPA (Controlling – Profitability Analysis) settlement & CAPEX (Capital project expenditure) settlement processes, Material Requirement Planning, Project quotation, Time sheets, Goods issues, and other project management activities in SAP PS.
  • Should have strong integration exposure with other SAP modules
  • Should have knowledge of SAP Investment management module.
  • Must be able to write functional specifications, perform testing and conduct end-user training sessions.
  • Should be able to handle project cutover activities independently.
  • Should have experience on latest S4 HANA version experience will be added advantage
  • Should have experience of integration knowledge with CO, FI and MM, SD and PP.
  • Must be proficient in handling Issues/support functions.
  • Should have sound technical knowledge of standard tables, BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interface), preferred experience in 3rd party interfaces and complex enhancements
  • Should have experience in PPM (Portfolio, Project Management) , CPM (Financial Planning, PICM) will be preferred.
