Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor junior baristas, ensuring high standards of service and product quality.
  • Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and receiving deliveries to maintain optimal supply.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and managing time-off requests.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including workstations, equipment, and customer areas.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
  • Monitor sales performance and assist in meeting sales targets through promotional activities and upselling techniques.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on beverage preparation, customer service, and equipment usage.
  • Implement and adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers.
  • Assist in developing new beverage recipes and seasonal offerings to enhance the menu and attract customers.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment operation

  • Ability to manage inventory and maintain stock levels effectively
