Job Title: Assistant Manager Talent Acquisition

Department: Human Resources

Reporting To: Manager Talent Acquisition

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for mid to senior-level positions, leading and mentoring a recruitment team, driving leadership hiring initiatives, and partnering closely with business stakeholders to meet strategic talent needs. Candidates with experience in Insurance, Broking, or NBFC sectors will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Team Handling & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters to ensure timely and quality hiring
  • Allocate requisitions, monitor team performance, and drive productivity through KPIs ement on workforce planning initiatives

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a strategic recruitment partner to business leaders and hiring managers
  • Conduct detailed intake discussions to understand business and role requirements
  • Provide regular hiring status updates, market insights, and recommendations

End-to-End Recruitment

  • Manage sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiations
  • Ensure seamless candidate experience and adherence to recruitment policies
  • Oversee vendor and consultant relationships where applicable

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Optimize recruitment processes, systems, and sourcing strategies
  • Track recruitment metrics such as TAT, cost per hire, and quality of hire
  • Prepare dashboards and MIS reports for leadership review

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification
  • 3–6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition with team-handling exposure
  • Industry preference: Experience in Insurance, Broking, or NBFC sectors
