Role Overview
As a Freelance Google Ads Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across Google platforms (Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube). You will work closely with our team to ensure that ad campaigns align with client goals, deliver high ROI, and maximize visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute Google Ads campaigns tailored to different client industries.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Create campaign structures (ad groups, keywords, bidding strategies) for optimal performance.
Campaign Execution & Management
- Set up and manage Search, Display, Shopping, and YouTube campaigns.
- Write compelling ad copy and create engaging ad creatives (in collaboration with the design team).
- Implement conversion tracking, remarketing audiences, and audience segmentation.
Optimization & Performance
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust bids, keywords, and targeting for best results.
- Perform A/B testing on ad copies, creatives, and landing pages.
- Optimize campaigns for CTR, Quality Score, CPC, and ROAS.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track, measure, and report on campaign performance using Google Ads Manager & Google Analytics.
- Provide weekly/monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Ensure campaign goals are aligned with client KPIs (leads, conversions, sales, website traffic).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience (2–4+ years) managing Google Ads campaigns for multiple clients.
- Strong knowledge of Google Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and Tag Manager.
- Ability to conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Strong copywriting skills for ad creation (bonus if skilled in visual ad creatives).
- Experience with landing page optimization and A/B testing.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Google Ads Certification (Preferred but not mandatory).
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
