Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in
Selenium WebDriver and Java
to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation strategy, script development, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using
    Selenium WebDriver with Java
    .
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks using
    TestNG / JUnit / Maven / Gradle
    .
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and define test coverage.
  • Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and provide detailed defect reports.
  • Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using
    Jenkins / GitLab / GitHub Actions
    .
  • Perform regression testing and support continuous testing efforts.
  • Identify areas for automation improvements and help enhance testing efficiency.
  • Work with APIs and perform API test automation using tools like
    RestAssured / Postman
    (optional).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience in
    Selenium WebDriver
    and
    Java
    .
  • Good understanding of OOP concepts and Java debugging skills.
  • Experience with
    TestNG/JUnit
    ,
    Maven/Gradle
    , and
    Git
    .
  • Solid understanding of automation frameworks (POM, Hybrid, Data-driven, BDD).
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Knowledge of defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
