About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript-based automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites to ensure high-quality product delivery across web and API layers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using JavaScript.
  • Build and execute automation scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Work closely with developers and QA teams to identify test scenarios and ensure complete test coverage.
  • Automate web applications using frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
  • Perform API automation using tools like Postman (Newman) or REST Assured (JS equivalent).
  • Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Analyze automation results, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate for quick resolutions.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript for test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
  • Good understanding of API testing and automation.
  • Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and Agile practices.
  • Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Mocha, or Jest).
  • Exposure to performance or visual testing tools (k6, Percy, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud-based test environments (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
