Role Overview
Lead the design, execution, and evaluation of training programs tailored to housekeeping based facility operations—covering areas such as clinical skills (for hospitals), hospitality services or general operational efficiency. Focus on aligning training initiatives with institutional goals and facility-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify facility-specific skill gaps and performance
- Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules tailored to facility staff and stakeholders
- Measure training effectiveness using frameworks like Kirkpatrick's model (e.g., feedback surveys, ROI analysis)
- Use Learning Management Systems (LMS) to manage course delivery, track progress, and maintain training records
- Develop structured training calendars and learning strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Train internal trainers (Train-the-Trainer programs) and collaborate across departments or with external partners (e.g., hospitality firms)
- Oversee training budgets, vendor relationships, certifications, and compliance training relevant to facility operations
- Drive a continuous learning culture, including digital adoption and SOP reviews to uphold operational standards
- Provide post-training support, coaching, and feedback to participants to reinforce learning
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Education, Psychology, Hospitality, Healthcare Management, or relevant field. Certifications in L&D, Instructional Design, or HR (e.g., CIPD, ATD) are highly valued SimplyHiredShineKerala IT JobsManatal.
- Experience:
- Mid-level (3–7 years) for L&D Specialist roles .
- Senior or managerial (5–12+ years) for managerial roles, especially in large healthcare or hospitality organizations
- Technical Proficiency:
- Comfortable with MS Office, LMS platforms, e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate), and digital training technologies
- Key Competencies:
- Strong facilitation, communication, project-management, and stakeholder-management skills
- Analytical mindset with evaluation capabilities for training outcomes and budget tracking
Ability to align training outcomes with operational and strategic goals
Job Title:
- Learning & Development Specialist – Facility Operations (Kochi/Thiruvananthapuram)
- Manager – Learning & Development (Hospitality/Healthcare) – Kerala
- Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document TNA for facility teams
- Design blended learning modules (workshops, e-learning)
- Manage LMS and report training metrics
- Partner with internal/external stakeholders for training delivery
