Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement data processing pipelines and ETL workflows on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong in SQL and DataWarehouse concepts
  • Implement, automate, and supports sophisticated data extraction, transformation, and loading applications using Python & GCP services like (google composer, google storage, Bigquery)
  • Creates and improves data solutions that enable smooth data delivery and is in charge of gathering, processing, maintaining, and analyzing enormous amounts of data.
  • Assessing and prioritizing client feature requests, writing scalable code using Python programming language, testing and debugging applications.
  • Have a very good understanding of GCP services such as Bigquery, Google composer, Google storage, user access management, DataHub, DataPlex, VertexAI and security.
  • Own the database structures, data artifacts (dictionary, catalogs) and data models for a data engineering platform that enables organization's objectives through a tool-agnostic approach.
  • Liaison with business analyst & client teams to build a data flow & platform strategy across business functions with a clear understanding of the integration points across applications, platforms and network infrastructures.
  • Work with clients and other development partners to deliver scalable and effective analytics solutions that leverage the best of the latest advancements in the field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of building & scheduling a DAG in Airflow from GCP.
  • Expertise in data pipeline and workflow management tools (Airflow etc.,)
  • Liaison with business analyst & client teams to build a data flow & platform strategy across business functions with a clear understanding of the integration points across applications, platforms and network infrastructures.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • B.E./B.Tech. (preferably in Computer Science) or MCA with experience of 4 to 7 years;
  • Strong skills in Python and GCP services including Google Composer, Bigquery, Google Storage)
  • Strong expertise in writing SQL, PL-SQL in Oracle, MYSQL or any other relation database.
  • Good to have skill: Data warehousing & ETL (any tool)
  • Proven experience in using GCP services is preferred.
