About the role:

We require a Merchandiser to join our Garments unit and help smooth functioning and communication between the Productions and Sales teams. The role will also require you to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research the market and work on developing performance-leading garments, trims, etc.
  • Understand the requirements of the buyer and get samples made for different products before Production starts
  • Work under the supervision of the production in-charge and communicate with him effectively on all tasks given
  • Work with the designing and marketing team to better present the collections
  • Work with the purchasing department to source raw material, trims and other garment accessories
  • Assist the Garments unit in developing the collection
  • Source materials like fabrics from the best places at the lowest cost
  • Supervise the sampling team

About You:

  • At least 2 years of Experience in Garments and fabric is required
  • Experience in working in Sportswear, Athleisure is highly desired
  • Strong communications skills are required
  • Previous Experience in the Garments industry is required
  • Proven effective Communication skills
  • Demonstrate experience working with a buyer and handling their requirements is a must
