Job Summary

The Accounts Assistant is responsible for preparing and maintaining financial reports, analyzing data for management information, and supporting the accounts team in day-to-day financial operations. The role involves data accuracy, timely reporting, and assisting in improving financial processes through systematic MIS reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to accounting and finance.
  • Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
  • Support in accounts payable and receivable tracking and reconciliation.
  • Maintain general ledger entries and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Generate reports on cash flow, revenue, and expense analysis for management review.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data and verify records.
  • Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related documentation.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Support in audit preparation and respond to audit queries.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in automation of MIS reports.
